Over prescription of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance are two constantly burning topics. It is not always easy to diagnose patients with vague symptoms. Sometimes it is hard to resist opinionated parents with sick children. More or less the same symptoms can, in some cases, act as a viral infection but can also be caused by bacteria. How to be sure?
